Overview
Viraday Tablet is a fixed-dose combination of Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (300 mg), Emtricitabine (200 mg), and Efavirenz (600 mg) manufactured by Cipla. It’s used once daily in HIV-1 antiretroviral therapy for viral suppression and immune recovery.
Mechanism of Action
Tenofovir (ntRTI) and Emtricitabine (NRTI) block reverse transcriptase, while Efavirenz (NNRTI) binds non-competitively to the enzyme, inhibiting HIV replication at multiple sites. ([turn0search14])
